Just had our first visit to Aleo & loved it! We visit Detroit often from GR and this gem of a location will be our new fav. The home is beautiful, full of character & intentional touches. Soft cozy bed & tons of great additions on site between all of the properties of the location like dinner, bakery & coffee, skatepark and gallery. The location near indian village is so charming. We are already planning our next visit and feel as though we’ve found something so perfect for all our future times in Detroit.

I had a great experience staying at Aleo! Sarah the barista took my early check-in and made it extra special with an iced chai from their selection of complementary coffees and teas. The Ox room was nice and cozy and although I didn’t personally love the linen sheets I slept well. Street noise is very muffled which is hard to find in an overnight stay in Detroit. The renovated bathrooms are beautiful and it’s a joy to see all of the artwork around the building. There are slippers and robes to upscale the experience, plus cookies and apples to snack on at your disposal. Warda’s breakfast is delicious and unique and their staff is very kind and welcoming even when using the voucher. Be aware there is a bit of a walk from the parking to the building and up stairs to the rooms.

This space was an absolute dream - we stayed as a group of friends to celebrate a milestone and were blown away by the beauty and peacefulness of this space, tucked away in Little Village, Detroit. You honestly don't need to leave to have an amazing getaway - from the beautiful home, to Warda's pastries, to Father Forgive Me, to the Shepherd's Gallery space. It was MAGIC!
Thank you for such a treat, we will all be singing your praises!

Fantastic place. Very memorable. Loved reading the books and magazines in the sun room. Great breakfast options in cafe next door (ALEO provides a credit that covered everything). And seeing the exhibit next door was an added bonus! Definitely coming back.

What an incredible venue, bar and gallery. Loved the chic mid century decor and vibe of the place. Absolutely loved it, friendly staff, great cocktails and food. Each rooms were curated and decored to fit the vibe. Loved the art on display inside & sculptures in the lawn outside.

This is a unique, special place. It's just this collection of all things cool and artful (guest house dripping with original art, cocktail bar, bakery, fire pit, sculpture garden, skateboard park!) in one thoughtful, beautiful compound. It is a destination itself. We had a big group that took all four rooms. We loved the common spaces. We loved the nearby galleries. Sarah took great care of us. I highly recommend it.
