This is a beautiful and very well appointed historic property. The grounds are artfully landscaped with many native species, under a grand ancient oak. So much attention to detail and hospitality. The breakfast was amazing. The balance between maintaining the historical atmosphere and modern comfort and convenience was perfect. The location is great. The restaurant choices in the Romance package were great and we loved the one we chose. The boat tour and picnic lunch were great too. We highly recommend a stay.

This was a fantastic find for us. The historic house was absolutely beautiful and Veronica was a great and welcoming hostess.
We had a room in the house next door and it was spacious. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and it was fun chatting with Veronica and the other guests.
Amelia Island had so much to offer. Fernindina Beach, lots a restaurants, live music in several spots and we highly recommend the boat tours around Cumberland Island, we saw dolphins and wild horses

This immaculately maintained, exquisitely restored Victorian is the most comfortable B&B we’ve ever booked. We will definitely stay there again. Our host, Veronica, provided helpful information about the house, as well as local shops and restaurants while also being respectful of our time and privacy. She is the consummate innkeeper. The two-course breakfast each morning surpassed in quality and originality anything we were ever offered at the Ritz Carlton. We heartily give our highest recommendation of the Williams House for those planning a visit to Fernandina.

Staying at the William’s house for our first anniversary was such a memorable and special experience for us. The house is so beautiful and we really loved staying in the Smugglers Cove room with the private porch overlooking the gardens.
Veronica is a wonderful host, and we looked forward to her delicious breakfast and coffee every morning. It was a joy talking with her and learning how she came to be the steward of such a beautiful piece of Amelia Island history. Her love and pride for the house are evident in the care she takes to maintain it.
We felt so relaxed and at home, everything was incredibly clean and tidy and there were so many thoughtful details throughout the house.
We are already planning our next stay and we hope to make it a tradition whenever we visit!
