Antietam Overlook Farm was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I were looking for a quick escape from the city that wouldn’t require a long drive from Arlington, VA, and this was exactly what we needed. We stayed for just one night and honestly wished we had booked a longer stay. We traveled with our lab, Link, and stayed in the Gardenview Room, which exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large separate soaking tub that we definitely took advantage of, plus our own private patio. The hospitality was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The innkeeper was incredibly welcoming and even offered us our first glass of wine or beer on the house. The common areas were cozy and inviting, and there always seemed to be a little treat waiting for guests. The views are beautiful, and if you love birds, this place is a dream. I saw so many hummingbirds, cardinals, and chickadees during our short stay. It was incredibly peaceful and felt like a true getaway without having to travel far from home. Breakfast was another highlight, banana pancakes with scrambled eggs, and everything was delicious. We left feeling relaxed and already talking about coming back. Antietam Overlook Farm is such a special little escape, and we will absolutely be returning, next time for more than one night!
