My husband and I had our wedding here this September. The grounds are so beautiful and there are so many different types of roses and flowers blooming. Everything, including the venue, rooms, and mansion was so beautiful and elegant. The staff was very polite, accommodating, and professional. All of the staff were so helpful, helping with every little request we had. We worked with Katie, the event coordinator throughout the whole process and she was amazing and was always available to answer any of our questions. Jill Dyson was our officiant and the script she planned was so beautiful and she was a wonderful officiant! I also worked extensively with the reservations team, specifically Kaitlynn and she was so helpful and answered all of my many questions and emails quickly. I couldn't have asked for better staff or a better place to get married at! I highly recommend.

We chose Antrim 1844 as our wedding venue. Everything was amazing. To our wedding coordinator, Katie, to the staff, and the room. It was all an amazing experience. Highly recommend for your next event!

I rarely post negative reviews but this entire situation left us entirely baffled by how poorly our missing item inquiry was handled.
We stayed at the hotel for our short honeymoon and I had left a very sentimental outfit behind that I had worn for my bachelorette party. Upon arriving home I was devastated to find out that I had left it hanging in the closet as I had every intention of wearing it home the next day. We called immediately and were redirected to the housekeeping manager where we left a voicemail.
For the remaining week, every time we called back to check if our items have been found, we would be redirected to the housekeeping manager by phone who made no attempt to follow up with our inquiries or respond to our voicemails.
I understand that the hotel is not responsible for anything left behind but the lack of care and follow through left a negative impression on us.
This whole ordeal unfortunately soured our experience with this location and now we cannot recommend it to any of our friends nor look upon our honeymoon fondly.
I finally got an answer exactly seven days from our stay that they could not locate the items and I am just very confused how this could have occurred or why they waited almost an entire week to conduct a search.
Check your hotel well as if you forget anything it is very unlikely you will be reunited with your items.

The service was overall very good, I purchased the summer getaway package for my wife and I after we got married for a little staycation.
The room was beautiful and clean, and the atmosphere and dinner were also fantastic.
My issues arise, as others have noted on other reviews, that afterward we had to call to find an outfit that we knew exactly where it was in the room, and we had only checked out that morning. We called immediately and were told that they found nothing in the room but that the housekeeping manager would call us back and check again.
After calling multiple different times, and even getting confirmation that the manager was working and still getting stuck with a voicemail without being called back, even having the person answering the main phones leave my number with the housekeeping manager and promising me a call back, after all of this I still have not heard back from this person.
I cannot say that one of the staff took the outfit (Which would be strange), I cannot say that the staff didn't look in the bathroom closet where we told them the items were left.
All I can say is I am dissatisfied with the communication.
Otherwise, the place was amazing! Just don't forget anything in your room that you'll miss.
