I booked my stay here at Azalea Inn through American Express and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed in the Wisteria Cottage/Villa. There is a sticker on the shower that says you have to wait 5 minutes for the shower to get hot. I waited 30 minutes and there was no hot water. The front desk closes at 8 pm. I found out at 9 pm that the comforter and sheets had not been changed. Hair was scattered throughout the bed along with makeup and stains. There was literally no one available for either of the issues I experienced my first night here. I went to the front desk at 8 am the following morning. I was told my JE(?) that maintenance would come by and check. No one ever did. I waited 8 hours. When I went back to the front desk shifts had changed and no one knew about my issues. I had to stand in my room to make sure the bedding was changed. Even the housekeepers were disgusted but staff noted that this was common occurrence. This place has guests sleep on dirty old sheets. That’s disgusting. Maintenance never arrived. The front desk clerk had to come to my room, call the property owner and even he had to play with the shower to get hot water. I waited almost an hour. In addition to the bedding not being changed, the hanging robes had food stains all over the collars. The bathroom was obviously never mopped or cleaned because there were earring backs littered on the floor. I was also locked in my room all Saturday night because the entrance to my room has a faulty doorknob that the property owner knew about. I got locked out around 7 pm. Staff onsite had to use a knife to let me back in. I asked what would have happened if I went out for the evening and could not get back in my room? Staff said they don’t suggest it and shrugged it off. I was suggested to stay in my room all night at risk of not being able to get in. Apparently the doorknob can’t even be turned with a key and only the top blot works. I have video of this. Lastly, there is black mold in this room growing out of both of the vents that are over the bed. I have pictures of this as well. I filed a complaint with AE and am hoping this dangerous location is closed due to the hazards it presents guests. If there had been a fire I wouldn’t have been able to get out of this room. I changed my flight and missed evening plans because of this disgusting location.

We were visiting Savannah for our anniversary, the Azeala inn is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast.Everyone is so welcoming and extremely helpful with anything you need or have questions about.Breakfast every morning was wonderful,we stayed in the Sweet Olive it overlooks the pool and garden area, very quiet, the pool was a great treat. Everyone who works there seem to enjoy each other's company and get along well it.One person who stood out with his engaging and entertaining personality was John Earl who we all gave the moniker of Earl of Savannah. He has such wonderful stories to tell. Definitely recommend this Inn.

Wonderful small Victorian B&B about a block and a half from Forsyth Park. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. I spent a glorious early morning hour on the back patio with a cup of coffee. Would definitely return.

Lovely stay. Great location, 5 minutes from Forsyth Park. Room was charming & clean, with lots of antiques. Perfect, cool temperature. Breakfast was delicious, with a continental bar of yogurts, muffins etc available. & a served, plated breakfast. The plated breakfast was hot & home-cooked, great quality. The dessert hour was super tasty as well. Check in was smooth. Lively farmers/artisan market on Saturday mornings at the park, must do! Bonus for the local cat garden nearby - so sweet!! 🐈🐈‍⬛

We enjoyed our stay overall. The rooms were very clean, and we loved the quaint pool out back along with the private balconies. The pricing felt fair, and we appreciated the nice hors d’oeuvres and snacks offered during social hour. Our bed was very comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect. The only issue we experienced was with the staff. One newer employee, who had only been there a couple of weeks, was extremely friendly and welcoming. However, the other two staff members had a noticeably different demeanor, and one interaction felt quite rude, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. Unfortunately, this impacted our experience to the point that we left early and chose to have breakfast elsewhere. There seemed to be a lot of tension at times, which affected the atmosphere when certain staff were present. It’s a shame, because the property itself is very nice and has a lot of potential.
