Gorgeous settling and property appeared well maintained and msnicured. Out Room over pool was great! I would have loved a full-length mirror. The sink doesn’t drain well but didn’t impact my stay.
The coordinators for my son’s wedding were absolutely wonderful; Amy and Makenzie. They were creative, professional, communicative and caring to me and ALL our guests. Colleen was a great resource for event coordination and managed things well for me.
Bartender, Meeka, has the fun-loving and caring energy we had hoped for. She kept us all well hydrated and entertained!!
The food at all levels, apps to dinner, was delicious and we heard compliments from so many guests!

This is a delightful old country inn that is surrounded with out buildings that are also guest rooms. They offer a large outdoor seating area for drinks or dinner when the weather permits. Two fire pits were going the night we were there as it did get rather chilly after sunset.
One thing to note is that breakfast is served in their sister property the Dorset Inn which is about a third of a mile away.
We were pleasantly surprised to find two 7.2 kW Clipper Creek charging stations that were not listed on our charging apps.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The resort offers room options for every type of traveler—families, couples, and anyone looking for either a secluded getaway or a more lively atmosphere. We will definitely return!

Visited the Barrows House Restaurant for Easter Brunch in the past and decided to return again this year. While we’ve had good experiences before, this visit fell short.
One of the main disappointments was the menu as it did not include the traditional ham meal option which was surprising for an Easter Brunch.
Service was also lacking. Our server, Kelsey, did not tend to our table well. After our food was delivered, she never came back to check on us. We were a group of 6 adults, and one meal was not cooked as requested. Without the follow up from our server, the meal was just not eaten.
Most of the other meals were good, however due to lack of service we decided to skip dessert. By the time our server came around we had waited long enough and simple asked for the check.
Given our past visits, this experience was disappointing. We hope it was just an off day.

Terrific place to stay for a wedding anniversary weekend. We loved our room, the staff are warm and welcoming. Dinner at Dorset Inn both nights was delicious. We ate at the Tavern our first night after enjoying a drink by the fire. The second night we came back and ate at the tavern bar - Chris the bartender took good care of us. I had a massage with Melissa at Hygge Spa just across the street from the Dorset Inn and it was the best massage I have ever had! I highly, highly recommend going to the Hygge Spa. It’s a new beautiful setting and so close by. We enjoyed walking the marble walkways to Dorset for breakfast and dinner from our room at the Barrows House. Such a charming and beautifully maintained town. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
