I love this B&B but it has changed in just one year. I stayed in the same room $350++ last year and this year to attend a reunion both years. No shower caps both times - not an item provided. Coffee mate creamers curdled in coffee maker coffee. Upholstered hangars bursting at seams and foam falling out. One of four bed pillows smelled of must and really so. And my worst experience - I asked for a late check out and they wanted to charge me $25 per extra hour. I decided to leave on time instead only because I was offended after spending $350++for 1(one) night. I think when you nickel and dime a repeat customer who paid FULL retail and you CAN extend that room an hour - why would you not? Instead I drive home disappointed and vowed not to return to this property next year. The staff at this property are off the charts wonderful but it is the policymakers/ownership who makes these policies. Someone here is seriously out of touch.I worked in the hotel business for several years I my career and loved doing so. I'm not wrong on this critique.

Beautiful property. Nice clean rooms. The check in staff were amazing. And it was all within walking distance of most attractions and sights. Will definitely stay again if I am back in the area.

We had a wonderful last minute stay at the Westscott House & we enjoyed ourselves so much! Perfect location convenient to everything downtown with a beautiful view of the Bayfront. A wonderful cocktail hour with a good assortment of complimentary finger foods, wines & beers with great conversation from the staff. The breakfast was wonderful, quick and very friendly service. We have stayed at multiple B&Bs in the downtown area & none come close to the Westscott House, we will definitely be back. My only recommendation for them would be to put blackout curtains in the rooms, the room we stayed in upstairs was the “Abigail” room and while it was a beautiful, comfortable room, it was quite bright at night and early morning from street lights nearby and lighting from the hallways. Other than that tiny critique which still did not affect our overall stay, it was absolutely delightful.
