An absolutely lovely rustic appointed inn. Our hosts, Marlin and his wife Eli (pronounced Ellie) were awesome. We stayed there nights and our hosts were very attentive and helpful any time of the day! Breakfasts were great and creative. Wouldn’t change a thing about our stay!

For our first visit to Clayton Ga, we stayed at the historic Beechwood B&B- and were so glad we did! The beautiful 100 year old home exceeded our expectations in every respect, especially its setting just on the edge of town, with wonderful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from a wraparound porch ideal for reading, visiting or relaxing.
But what truly makes Beechwood special is its remarkable hosts, Eli & Marlon. An extended visit and conversation with this dynamic duo on our first day quickly convinced us that anyone staying at Beechwood is in for a very special experience. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine interest in their guests can’t be overstated.
And, then there are the breakfasts!
Eli’s delicious and creative breakfasts, served by Marlon in his always friendly and gracious manner, are unlike anything we’ve experienced at a B&B!
Needless to say, we look forward to future visits to the Beechwood Inn.

The host were wonderful! They shared with us some of the history behind the home and we enjoyed that. They have put a lot of love and effort into restoring it, and so well done!
Great location and the view from the porch was impressive. Did not make it to breakfast but other reviews mentioned that it did not disappoint!
Everything made us want to return! Great, Great place!!

Staying at the Beachwood is a truly wonderful experience. My husband and I have gone there for years and have never been disappointed. The innkeepers are responsive, fun, organized, and well informed about activities and sites in the area. Their deep love for their 100 year old inn shows in their attention to detail and spotless rooms. They keep the charm and character while updating the facility to the 21st century.
Breakfast, winethirty, and good conversation are highlights.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Clayton. Couple of things:
- great B&B: clean, nice rooms, amazing hosts!, great breakfast. Not in town, very close - I wouldn't walk it tho. A really nice quiet retreat. Our room was a suite which was great to have a sitting area. The downstairs is nice big porch with a view, 2 nice rooms for sitting, coffee, reading. Nice separate eating area for the great breakfast.
- clayton has a lot going on - very worth visiting regularly for the ATL crowd, lots of shops (many closed Sunday), lots of restaurants from casual but great to higher end and more elegant (also great).

We found a gem at Beechwood Inn, made even more special by the wonderful owners, Eli and Marlon.
They thoughtfully transformed this old bed and breakfast into a warm, rustic retreat filled with character. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like old friends, offering genuine hospitality, great conversation, laughter, and helpful recommendations.
The delicious breakfast and evening cocktail hour were lovely touches, and their suggestions for places to visit, eat, and explore made our stay even better.
Beechwood Inn is more than a beautiful place to stay—it’s an experience. Eli and Marlon have created something truly special, and we feel fortunate to have found it. We can’t wait to return! ❤️
