If you look for a business to show you nice pictures but is all ugly, come here, the worst place of your live, they will charge your card before you enter this ugly place that way when you come and dont like it, sorry you are already charged. If you like a clean place dont come to this Dracula terror mansion the bad smell terrify you. If you are not able to take stairs with a dirty carpet🤮 dont come most rooms are in second floor. Here is No vines, no winery, nowhere to look around, is all around an asphalt plant, carpets are dirty, super boring place. I travel a lot and this is the worst place I ever been. Keep going to Walla Walla you will find really beautiful places there. Look the picture this is the mansion suroundings. Owner super rude. Not a nice destination at all.
We had such a wonderful and romantic stay at Cameo Heights Mansion! One of the highlights was the delicious five-course dinner—every course was beautifully prepared, thoughtfully presented, and absolutely incredible. The bed-and-breakfast experience was equally amazing, and breakfast the next morning was the perfect way to begin our day.
Jake was an awesome host who made us feel genuinely welcomed and helped make our stay even more memorable. We loved sitting together under the stars in the hot tub and playing games as we worked to complete our bingo card. Those thoughtful experiences made the getaway especially fun and brought us even closer together.
Cameo Heights Mansion gave us beautiful memories that we will always treasure. We highly recommend it to any couple looking for a romantic, relaxing, and truly special getaway!
Neutral. Was going to book here but reading the interactions between negative reviews and the verbose point by point responses from ownership portrayed a very negative vibe.
Owner: Better to just let it go. The longwinded responses appear defensive and give credence to the criticism that would otherwise be dismissed by the savy traveler.
Best of luck in your future.
My husband and I recently spent a getaway weekend at Cameo Heights Mansion for our 17th anniversary, and honestly… WOW. ❤️🥂 We stayed in the French Suite, and it was absolutely stunning! The view from the French doors was breathtaking, and the entire room felt so romantic and luxurious.
We timed our day perfectly. We arrived right at 3:00 p.m., got settled into our room, and then enjoyed a simultaneous 60-minute couples massage at 3:30. The massage therapists were top-tier! They were incredibly friendly, made us feel completely comfortable, and the massages were amazing.
We also did the seven-course dinner at 5:00, and I cannot say enough good things about the food! Every course was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. By about the fourth or fifth course, I was starting to feel like I might pop 😂, but everything was so good that I still wanted to eat every single bite! We were also practically the only ones in the dining room for most of our dinner, which made the experience feel incredibly intimate and special.
After dinner, we changed, walked around, and explored the mansion before heading out to the hot tub once it got dark. We had the hot tub completely to ourselves, and it was so romantic and peaceful. The views were absolutely amazing!
We also added the Romance Package, which included wine in our room, roses, and chocolate-covered strawberries. It was definitely worth it and made our anniversary feel even more special. The jetted bathtub was also such a fun and romantic touch. I’ll just say… I had a few new experiences during this getaway too. 😉😂
We paid the extra $40 to have breakfast delivered to our room the next morning, and it was absolutely worth it! Breakfast was excellent. The only small thing I might suggest would be having a coffee maker and supplies available in the suites for those of us who wake up before breakfast starts. I’m an early riser, so we walked downstairs to the common area to make coffee before going back upstairs, putting on our robes, and relaxing in bed.
Other than that tiny suggestion, everything was absolutely amazing. The cleanliness was on point, the staff and service were wonderful, the food was incredible, and the entire experience was peaceful, intimate, romantic, and exactly what we wanted for our 17th anniversary.
Thank you, Cameo Heights Mansion, for helping make our anniversary so special! ❤️ We will definitely be back—and next time we may have to try the facials, wine pairings, and some of the other experiences we didn't get a chance to enjoy this time!
It isn’t that I don’t recommend this place.
But they can use some upgrades/tlc. Its age really shows. And seems stuck in the early 2000s.
Check in was a little strange. Text message said to enter from pool area. So didn’t know if we could go up stairs or anything. No host to show us around or map of the Mansion.
Stayed in the Greek suite and must say the constant banging and stomping around from up stairs was horrible all the way until 11pm and then restarted at 6am. So didn’t get much sleep. Plus the kitchenette has a plumbing issue for a slow drain. The main shower head was cracked or something where the water was coming out the back side of it. One of the pillow cases had a lot of rips in it. And half the hanging lights over the pool didn’t work. Plus a lot of bulbs burnt out. And was difficult trying to figure out the tv situation with all the remotes. Eggs Benedict were over cooked when brought to the room.
Positives= pool, jacuzzi, fire pits, theater room

4/5I travel extensively, including 3–4 months a year in Europe, and often stay at five-star hotels. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience and did not feel like a four-star property.
Pros: The staff were wonderful and attentive, the rooms were spacious, the breakfast was good and the pool area was nicely maintained.
Cons: The property felt dated and worn, with several maintenance issues. The rooms were heavily decorated, with décor that did not seem aligned with the room’s theme. The carpet in our room was dirty and dingy. The 1.5-mile gravel entrance road was washboarded and in places riddled with potholes, making it unpleasant to drive and hard on vehicles.
We ate onsite at “The Vine” restaurant twice. We did the 3 course menu (food was good but service was very slow) and the 7 course menu with the wine pairing. The latter was very disappointing. I’ll do a separate review for The Vine.
The hotel felt far too reliant on remote management. During my four-day stay, I never saw the manager or owner. While I appreciate the convenience of texting a front desk with requests/needs, all communication here was handled by text with an unknown remote contact (I believe it was the owner, but am not sure). While the remote operation may be convenient for the owners, it left the stay feeling impersonal and lacking in on-site management. For a hotel, having someone present and accountable on-site (for at least a few hours/day) would make a significant difference.
The biggest drawback for us was the location. The purpose for us was wine tasting in Walla Walla and the hotel was thirty minutes away from most of the wineries and the downtown area. We were aware of this ahead of time, but found it to be more cumbersome than we expected.
Overall, while the staff and some amenities were very good, the dated condition, maintenance issues, and location kept this from feeling like the four-star experience we expected. We would not return, nor recommend.
