The Captain Freeman Inn is an excellent place to stay. The owners are very personable, the food is excellent, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The owners made reservations for us at a nearby restaurant and the restaurant greeted us by name and gave us a great table. The location is well situated just off rt 6, so it's easy to get around. We had a great weekend!

What a phenomenal inn! We celebrated our honeymoon here and loved every second of our stay. We were blown away by the property, the attention to detail, and the top-notch hospitality from Laurie and Jason. We were so excited to see what delicious breakfast we would be having or what afternoon cookies they had waiting in the tea room each day. We were blown away by the creativity and experience of these breakfasts. Perfect location for walking to Breakwater Beach, the Brewster Store, or some of the local restaurants or coffee shops (we walked to Uncle Pete’s and to Eat Cake 4 Breakfast and Snowy Owl). Brewster was the perfect home base for day trips anywhere along the cape. Laurie and Jason were always willing to provide wonderful suggestions for activities and meals. We loved our room with beautiful decorations, a spacious bathroom, and our flower arrangement from their flower station. Lots of common spaces with board games and keurig and tea available. And the pool! Such a beautiful space to relax. We cannot wait until we can return (maybe for an anniversary!). Thank you for making this such a wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our 12-night stay at Captain Freeman Inn. It’s so beautiful, with so much charm and character. The inn is immaculately clean and well maintained. It is obvious how much pride the owners take in caring for this inn, and it shows in every detail.
The three-course breakfast each morning was unique, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We also indulged in the daily afternoon snacks—what a special treat!
We stayed in two different rooms to accommodate our stay: the Brewster Room to start, and then the Barnstable Room for the majority of our visit. Everything about these rooms is swoon-worthy. We loved them both, but the Barnstable Room was a step above with its private porch. I spent many relaxing hours out there reading, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots at the inn.
The inn has such a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Whether we were sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, lounging by the pool, or enjoying the private porch off our room, it truly felt like home.
No review of Captain Freeman Inn would be complete without mentioning the wonderful owners, Jason and Laurie. They were so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we met. Their hospitality goes above and beyond, making every guest feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
Staying at Captain Freeman Inn was truly one of the highlights of our Cape Cod trip. We loved it so much that we already booked our stay for next year before we even left!

We enjoyed our third stay back in June. Everything exceeds expectations - the rooms, breakfast, pool, beautiful setting, and of course the daily treats! It's the kind of place that you are planning your next stay as soon as you check out! We'll absolutely be back, as soon as we can!!

We stayed at the inn for 3 nights and on the last night I couldn’t help myself from booking our stay next year. This was the best bed and breakfast we’ve stayed at. Hosts were very friendly. The inn itself was beautiful. We loved the pool and the short walk to the beach. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and I loved the cookies every afternoon! My husband has been on a gluten free diet and they were able to make his breakfast gluten free everyday and they also made sure to give him gluten free treats every afternoon. Thanks!
