The hosts of the Captain Swift Inn, Jessica and Matt Gilman, were exceptional! They wrote the book on hospitality and have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. From the beautifully appointed rooms to the delicious homemade breakfasts in the morning, every moment was perfect and truly exceeded our expectations. The Inn itself is stunning! The rooms (we saw two as we were traveling with friends) are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful as well. We were only there two nights, but would have loved to have stayed longer. If we ever return to Camden (which we highly recommend), we will definitely stay at the Captain Swift Inn! Thank you so much Jessica and Matt!

What a wonderful stay! The Captain Swift Bed & Breakfast was one of the highlights of our time in Maine. It is a beautiful inn with so much charm and character, but what really made our stay memorable was how comfortable and welcoming it felt from the moment we arrived.
Everything was thoughtfully done, and there was a genuine sense of hospitality throughout our stay. We left wishing we could have stayed a little longer and would absolutely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable place to stay.

Exceptional gem. Quaint, rustic, cozy and very CLEAN. The room smelled fresh and clean which is not always the case in some old inns. Breakfast was perfectly homemade comfort. The owners were warm and welcoming. Had a wonderful night's sleep which is rare when I travel. I literally felt so comfortable here, like I was home. Thank you Jessica & Matt, well done. Would highly recommend to others traveling to Camden, ME.
