Such a delightful place! The house is beautiful, the hosts are lovely, the patio out back was so nice at the end of a busy day, and the breakfast of homemade food, some from their own garden, isn't just good food, it's cuisine! Highly recommend!

I had a great stay here while traveling for work. Chris and Sharon were so lovely and welcoming from check in through check out. The location was great, and they gave me excellent recommendations for food and things to explore in the area.
The breakfast was also fantastic, and the coffee had just the right amount of magic to get me through the day! The indoor and outdoor spaces available to guests have a really nice touch.
A wonderful stay all around. I hope to come back soon!

Sharon and Chris are born innkeepers. They graciously anticipate and fulfill their guests' every need, but manage to do so without being the slightest bit intrusive (a rare gift!). They truly seem to enjoy welcoming people to share their beautifully restored inn--and we were only too delighted to oblige.

Update 7/ 6/ 2026.
Another great stat at Georges on York. Chris and Sharon are still incredible hosts, and everything in my earlier review still holds true. Chris and Sharon have made a number of updates to the property, including EV charging stations and an expanded outdoor area with beautiful gardens. This is the only B&B we have ever returned to in our extensive travels. There are a ton of activities nearby that the Tillmans know all about, which will keep us coming back. Thanks tou Chris and Sharon for everything to make the 4th of July weekend spectacular.
Our incredible hosts Sharon and Chris own and manage a beautiful property in the heart of Taneytown. The house is positively breathtaking in terms of its architecture and interior details. The five bedrooms rooms are spacious and comfortable.Chris is an amazing cook and loves making breakfast. Sharon knows the house on an intimate level and will glady conduct an extended tour. There is a huge backyard, off street parking and plenty of places to chill out and recharge. Sharon and Chris provide an online guidebook when you reserve that includes history, attractions and restaurants in the area. If you are looking for an exceptional B&B in this area. Don't miss Georges on York. I promise you won't be disappointed.
