The staff is the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The grounds are beautiful and the room we stayed in was fantastic! The food was great and well portioned. We stayed for our 40th anniversary and we look forward to coming back in the next couple years!

There are places you visit, and then there are places that quietly become part of your story. Glenlaurel is the latter for us.
My husband and I have been coming to Glenlaurel for 15 years, and somehow, after all this time, arriving here still feels special. There is something almost magical about turning onto the property and feeling the rest of the world begin to fall away.
Over the years, Glenlaurel has been the backdrop to so many chapters of our life together. We’ve returned in different seasons, at different ages, and at different points in our marriage, yet the feeling has remained remarkably the same: peaceful, romantic, intimate, and completely removed from the noise of everyday life.
The grounds are breathtaking, the Scottish character gives Glenlaurel a soul all its own, and the attention to detail makes you feel as though you’ve escaped somewhere much farther away than Hocking Hills. The meals, the beautiful accommodations, the quiet mornings, and simply having uninterrupted time together are all part of what keeps bringing us back.
There are very few places in the world that can hold that kind of meaning.
We treasure Glenlaurel and look forward to returning for many years.

This the second time we (my wife Natalie and I, Mark,) have been to GlenLaurel, and again, it was an exceptional unforgettable experience. We were there 10 yeara ago for our honeymoon and just spent a few days ago celebrating our 10th Anniversary. The food, the environment, the service, always ranks very high. For anybody looking for a quiet getaway where you can read, hike, sit by a fire pit ( even just to sit by it at night sn the dark is relaxing) , and converse with others just adds to new memories. 100% reccomended for married and/or dating couples looking to get away from everyday concerns ( work, kids, etc. )
