The inn is a nice property and close to the town square. Cooper is an excellent host and Sandy makes the best cheese grits and breakfast pastries. Look forward to coming back.

My husband and I absolutely love the Inn on Lake Granbury! This was our third visit and it continues to be one of our favorite places to get away in Texas. The entire property is so peaceful and relaxing. We love sitting by the lake and spending time by the beautiful pool with the waterfall; it truly feels like a little escape. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained, and the location couldn’t be better. You get the quiet, relaxing lakefront atmosphere while still being conveniently located right off the Granbury Square. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating and makes each stay feel special. There’s a reason we keep coming back year after year. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!! 💛

Horrible experience!!! We booked this place based on reviews for our 1-year wedding anniversary. (Supposed to be a special weekend!) We really needed a getaway and some pampering - they knew it was our anniversary and we booked way in advance. Check-in was between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. but we had to get the kids dropped off with the grandparents first, so we would not be arriving until 6:30 p.m. - We called in advance and they told us, no problem, just send a text when you are about 10 minutes away and we will be ready for you. Before we sent the 10-minute away text, we received a text from someone named Cooper, telling us that they are having a birthday party, so when we show up, just move a cone out of the way so you can park. What the heck - bad way to start, but I can get past that one. We stop in the middle of the street and get out to move a cone just so we can park and go into the office area where it says to go for check-in, no-one is there to greet us, so we call the number that had texted us, a lady shows up and seems like we are taking her away from something more important. She checks us in and asks us to get back in our car and shows us where to drive to meet her on the property. We park and she shows us to our room. She then comes in the room to give us a tour, and the air has not been turned on (so it is hot) the lights would not work in the shower/bathroom as she played with a faulty switch over 100 times trying to get it to stay in the right position to work. (She eventually gave up and went to get a piece of tape to put over the switch to hold the light on and told us that we could remove the tape when we wanted to turn the light off or just to shut the door when we needed to sleep. The bed runner and the throw pillows on the bed had really old and really bad stains all over them. (Gross!) The fan/light above the bed was on but none of the remotes worked and they never brought replacements or batteries for those. The T.V.'s were very outdated and she could not get them to work during check-in so she told us just to reach around behind the T.V. and unplug the USB and then plug it back in and then it might work. We had ordered champagne on ice to be ready as a surprise for my wife when we arrived, and all the ice had melted by the time we arrived, so the champagne was hot. The wine glasses above the kitchen sink where the melted bucket of hot champagne sat had not been washed or cleaned and still had wine stains in them. (Gross!) The lack of cleanliness is most likely where all of the ROACHES are coming from (We almost went and slept in the car or just left but we are not wealthy and had saved for 6 months for this special weekend) The bed had many loose springs that would pop in the middle of the night as you turn or roll over. (Annoying) We had to text Cooper Saturday morning to get details about the breakfast add-on that we paid for. They did not show us during check-in where to go for the breakfast (probably too busy entertaining the birthday party at that time) or any details about when the breakfast was being served. DO NOT PAY FOR THE BREAKFAST ADD-ON!!! (Gross!) After breakfast Saturday morning we got a text from Cooper again asking us what time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. we would like turndown service for our room. We replied 12:30, knowing we had scheduled (scheduled through the property at time of booking way in advance) at 2p.m. for the in-room massages. During our massages (right in the middle of them) a knock on the door (room service ready to turn down the beds) I am at a loss at this point and apologizing to my wife about the whole experience thus far. We then get another text from Cooper at 4 p.m. (We never met, in person, anyone named Cooper during our entire stay...btw) stating that they had messed up during check-in and did not get our order for a complimentary appetizer and drink to be served at 5 p.m. We did not feel welcome or special in any way at this property! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Absolutely the A#1 Best B and B I have ever been to and I have been to many all over the world. The rooms are modern and very spacious. Super clean, well stocked and comfortable. The common areas are relaxing and have cold drinks and snacks. Breakfast was huge, sumptuous and delicious. The setting is absolutely gorgeous. Right on the banks of Lake Granbury, you can enjoy manicured lawns, huge shade trees and a beautiful pool that is sparkling clean. I didn't want to leave. Cooper, the owner is an amazing host and your every wish or thought is catered to. The best there is!
