Everything was excellent! John and Marsha welcomed us warmly and were very attentive to serving us. Our room (Black Bear) was absolutely amazing. Lots of room and a private deck. Each morning we were greeted and served a gourmet breakfast. Our view of the mountains was stunning as well. A guest fridge and complimentary beverages were added bonuses. We stayed 4 days and were sorry to leave. It was a special place with special innkeepers and we will go back again.

We actually booked this place with no references on the way to the mountains, as our trip was last minute, on a whim. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted and made to feel welcomed. The room we were assigned was roomy comfortable and had an entrance to a deck overlooking the valley. The bed was comfortable and sheets were some of the nicest we have ever slept on. Breakfast was awesome and wholesome served hot. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We have found our new go to for our future trips to the mountains. My wife and I would both recommend Lazy Bear to anyone inquiringly!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful place! John and Marsha have truly created a paradise here. The accommodation is beautifully situated on the mountain, with a breathtaking view that you enjoy every single day. One of the highlights was watching the many little birds coming to eat at the silos – so soothing and special. The hospitality was amazing; everyone was incredibly friendly and made sure we wanted for nothing. Everything was perfectly organized and spotless, thanks in part to Willow, who does a fantastic job. Every morning we started the day with a delicious breakfast and really good coffee. We slept wonderfully and, moreover, met many lovely and sociable people during our stay. The location is ideal, close to the main attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. In short, John and Marsha have created a true paradise where everything is just right. We would love to come back again!
