Girls Trip! Since we have been close friends for many years, the four of us chose the two-bedroom cottage for our stay at Palmer House Inn. The cottage is thoughtfully- and well-appointed. It was the perfect choice to catch up and visit with each other. We enjoyed walking in the beautiful garden area that surrounds the property. Although we did not stay in the main part of the inn or in the guest house rooms, we still were able to experience the amazing hospitality. The innkeepers, Tom and Billy, are genuinely friendly, kind, and thoughtful. We felt safe, and felt like we were guests in a home…not in an inn. There’s such a cozy and comfortable feeling at Palmer House. Tom, Billy, and their wonderful staff go out of their way to be helpful and provide for all guest needs. Zeus, their Leonberger, greeted us each day and brought us cheer. The breakfasts each morning were so very tasty, with several choices for everyone’s palate. Billy does a fantastic job…and we did not leave hungry! One of his specialties is baking…breakfast and afternoon treats for guest enjoyment. I inquired one morning about his famous chocolate chip cookies, and the next day we were spoiled with a special delivery to our cottage. Palmer House Inn is within a short, easy walking distance of downtown Falmouth. We enjoyed the quaint shops, the treats at Maison Villatte, and dinner at La Cucina. The Steamship Authority is also within walking distance of the inn. We enjoyed two days at Martha’s Vineyard via their ferry service. All in all, we feel very blessed to stay at Palmer House Inn and hold special memories in our hearts.

My wife and I had an incredible experience here. The level of care and dedication that goes into creating an exceptional experience is immediately apparent. From the hospitality to the attention to detail, everything was thoughtfully done. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at an inn. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Palmer House Inn. Tom and Billy were so accommodating with our 6 month old, and the entire staff helped us ensure we had everything from a pack n play to clean bottles each morning. The breakfast each morning is was dreams are made of! The room we stayed in was charming, clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful (wish we had more time to only spend at the house because it was a masterpiece). It was a short walk away from the bus stop that takes you right to the Vinyard ferry which was great. Stay here and you’ll be talking about it for the rest of forever like us. We cannot wait until we can come visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Palmer House Inn! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. What made our stay even more memorable was that my daughter lost her first tooth while we were there, so the tooth fairy came to room #11. After we left, I realized I had accidentally left her tooth behind and panicked thinking it was gone but the wonderful staff found it and were kind enough to ship it back to us. It may seem like such a small thing, but as a mom, it meant so much to me and was such a perfect example of the genuine care and hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. We made such sweet family memories here and can’t say enough wonderful things about the Palmer House Inn. Beautiful place, great location and a stay we’ll always remember. Looking forward to coming back next year!

I can’t say enough, kind things about my visit to the Palmer house Inn. It was an exceptional stay. I highly recommend it to anybody that’s visiting the Cape. This is definitely the place you want to be to explore this once in a lifetime adventure.

June 2026 was our first stay at the Palmer House after previously staying at a now defunct B&B many times. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Palmer House. We tried 2 different rooms, the cottage in the back of the property and the Emily Dickinson room in the main building. Both rooms were comfortable, quiet and well maintained. The only thing I would point out to people considering the Emily Dickinson room is that the bed is very high, there are a set of steps provided but people with limited mobility might struggle a bit. The included breakfast was excellent and offered options which isn't always the case in a B&B. The hosts Tom and Billy were great and very helpful. The location is just about perfect, it's an easy 10 minute walk into town so you don't have to try to park, and you can enjoy a couple of margaritas at Anejo guilt free! Overall a great experience and we've already booked for next year.
