Spent two lovely quiet nights at this bed and breakfast, and really enjoyed it! The inn itself is beautiful, with lots of little touches like outdoor rocking chairs and seated/shaded areas around the koi pond. We enjoyed very tasty homemade breakfasts and wonderful coffee, juice, and tea. Evenings were quiet with excellent sleep in the comfortable beds. It is literally within minutes of the main waterfront, restaurants, and shops. The best part is you park your car and explore without worrying about finding a spot! Stan was an excellent host with lots of information if you needed it. We live 45 minutes away, so are familiar with the town of Beaufort, NC. This was a wonderful weekend for my wife to spend her Birthday. Probably the nicest B&B we’ve stayed at in years! We will be back!

The Pecan Tree Inn was an amazing place to stay in Beaufort and Stan and Christine are great hosts! Perfect spot to put you in walking distance to all the spots in town. The breakfast each morning was different and all was phenomenal. The room was cozy and helped us feel at home. We also loved the accommodations of seating spots on the porch, so great in the evenings. Definitely recommend!

This is my second stay and my wife Carol's third stay. The proprietors Stan & Christine do an amazing job of taking care of there guests. Christine does the morning food preparations for breakfast, which is fantastic and unique, definitely not something you would get at any restaurant. Stan preps the outside dining tables with table clothes and silverware and the inside dining room with silverware and delivers the breakfast entrees to each guest. Both Stan & Christine are well versed in the history of their Victorian home, which is beautifully furnished. Whenever we are in Beaufort we look forward to staying at the Pecan Tree Inn for a two or three day relaxing visit. Thank you Stan & Christine for all you do and keep up the outstanding service you provide your guest!

We just spent two nights in this lovely B&B! It's perfectly located on a quiet side street within walking distance to everything. Stan and Christine are very gracious hosts and she makes an amazing breakfast every day! Take the ferry over to Shackleford Banks at low tide...the shelling is amazing! So many cute shops and great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Very rude greeting, almost discriminatory! Lack of clear communication. I can’t truthfully rate the rooms, as due to the terrible customer service alone I never booked. Very disappointing.
