We stopped for a late lunch today en route home to Kent from Greenville, PA. Our third visit in about a year for meals. I had the prime rib sandwich and my wife had the fish sandwich....both were absolutely delicious; preparation perfect; portions large; temperature hot. We had an attentive server named Raymond who was a delight, too, funny guy. We left completely satisfied. Kinsman is fortunate to have such a fine-dining establishment in such a rural area. The facility is beautiful. Older folks from the area always remember the original owner, Alice, and she'd be proud of the place now I believe.

My wife made reservations well in advance for our anniversary and my birthday. We were seated at the bottom of the stairs where there was quite a bit of traffic of customers coming in and out as well as it was right next to the restroom. It took 10 minutes at least for our server to come to the table for the first time and she rarely visited after that. I had to flag down a separate waitress who was very attentive to her tables, I asked to be relocated to a patio table away from the stairs and the restrooms, the resolution for this took longer than I anticipated and we ended up having our original waitress bring our meals out after quite a long wait. We decided to just stay at the table we were at, finish our meal and leave. The place seemed nice and I was excited to be there but very disappointed with our experience.
