We only had the opportunity to spend one night at the Silas Robbins House, but it was such a wonderful and memorable experience! Our host, Olga, was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating from the moment we arrived. She gave us some great dinner recommendations and took the time to give us a tour of the beautiful historic home, sharing some of its history along the way. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and full of character, and the beautiful gardens and flowers surrounding the property make it even more charming. The location is fantastic, too. It’s an easy walk to the quaint downtown area, where you can explore the shops, restaurants, and local atmosphere without having to get back in the car. And then there was breakfast! Olga prepared an incredible spread that included a fresh fruit parfait, omelet, bacon, and some absolutely scrumptious blueberry pancakes. It was easily one of the highlights of our stay and the perfect way to start the day. Between the historic charm, beautiful gardens, convenient location, wonderful hospitality, and that amazing breakfast, we only wish we could have stayed longer. If we find ourselves back in the area, the Silas Robbins House will definitely be at the top of our list. Highly recommend!
