5/5Another year, another outstanding stay at Springbank House. The home and the rooms are just as luxuriously appointed as I remember. Again, the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on along with the softest towels and sheets. Breakfast was to die for - several courses, freshly made each morning with fresh breads, seasonal fruits, eggs, etc. The owners, Geoff and Kim (and their dogs Ridley and Ella) are two of our most favorite people - it was so wonderful to spend time with them and we already miss them. We will be back ... again.

5/5If you cannot get to Europe, this is a rather convincing substitute: beautiful rooms, gracious rituals, exceptional hospitality, and the reassuring sense that someone still remembers how things ought to be done.
There are houses one visits, and houses that conspire to make one linger.
Here, elegance has not been arranged—it has been tended, protected, and quietly persuaded to remain. Every detail bears the evidence of devotion: to beauty, to grace, to the increasingly endangered art of receiving a stranger well.
There is something almost dangerous in such hospitality. One begins by admiring the rooms, the objects, the quiet intelligence of it all—and before long, one has surrendered to the place entirely.
We arrived as guests and leave slightly spoiled, considerably charmed, and with our standards now inconveniently raised.
Perhaps this is what a beautiful house is meant to do: offer us shelter, pour us something good, remind us that refinement is not extravagance but attention—and then send us back into the world a little less willing to tolerate ugliness.
May this house continue its elegant conspiracy.
And may its keepers be forgiven for making departure feel like such poor taste.
Gorgeous house, and the owners Geoff and Kim are exceptional hosts. The breakfasts were a particular treat. Perfect weekend!

5/5We stayed at Springbank Bed & Breakfast for one night with our family, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. The home is absolutely beautiful, full of history, impeccably maintained, and decorated with such elegance that it feels like a true luxury retreat. It's located on a lovely, quiet street that made for a perfect stop on our trip. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. It was beautifully prepared, absolutely delicious, and easily the best meal we had during our vacation. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, were our hosts, Geoff and Kim. They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Whether it was sharing stories about the area or Geoff delighting our son by telling him about his Scottish heritage, every conversation made our stay even more memorable. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness set Springbank apart. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend Springbank Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a beautiful, historic home with exceptional hospitality.
Springbank House is a fantastic historic house that has been impeccably restored. Geoff and Kim are wonderful, gracious hosts. Highly highly recommended
