How far is Stonehurst Place in Atlanta, GA from the nearest major city or airport?
We’re in Atlanta, GA. The nearest major airport is Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), about 12 miles (20 minutes) away.
There was a lot of criminals and drug dealers hanging out in the area, and they were scaring all the children away. They didn't feel safe to play outside when we took them on the field trip.
One of them kept approaching my friend's daughter and saying he wanted to get married to her and have her move to Mexico with him, and he was saying it over and over again.
She kept telling him to leave her alone and he wouldn't leave her alone.
Then there was an all out great big police chase through the neighborhood that night. There was sirens, blaring and kept us awake half of the night it was a very miserable experience.

Stayed here with my granddaughter and couldn’t have been more impressed. We walked to and from a midtown concert and felt very safe. Every little detail so meticulously executed. This is the kind of place where you truly feel at home and will never forget.

Perfect, after staying at a variety of chain hotels whilst we travelled across the States we stumbled upon the Stonehurst Place B&B and my, we are glad we did. It feels more like staying at a wealthy uncles house than a hotel and all the staff (or family as we now think of them) made us feel specially welcome. Bridgett, Cory, Anna and the owner; Judy are lovely people and will make you feel right at home. The aircon is silent, no big city noise keeps you awake and breakfast was something to look forward to. There are snacks and soft drinks readily available and several lounges and a Lanai to relax in too. We even had a robot deliver our lunch! Thanks everyone! X

Really lovely little oasis in a great location. My room was unique and very charming. I felt like a guest in a friends home. The property has lots of little corners to sit and relax. Breakfast was also excellent. This place is a gem and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely stay again.

Stonehurst Place is not just the best accommodation in Atlanta — it is one of the best places to stay in the entire world.
The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the room condition was absolutely excellent. I am quite sensitive when it comes to cleanliness and comfort, but the room was spotless and the bedding was so comfortable.
I also loved the trees outside the window and the peaceful sound of birds in the morning. Staying here truly felt like experiencing life in a beautiful, elegant American home, and it is an experience I will never forget.
The breakfast, which is one of the highlights of this place, was unforgettable as well. It was absolutely delicious. I have traveled to many countries, but I have never had a breakfast this good anywhere else.
The location is also perfect. It was very convenient for exploring Atlanta and getting around the city.
We chose Stonehurst Place as the first stay of our honeymoon, and it was such a wonderful choice that my wife even praised me for picking it.
We would love to come back again someday!

I'll be honest. I'm a hotel snob. Comfort, cleanliness and friendliness are the three most important qualities that I look for. And Stonehurst absolutely knocked it out of the park! Judy and her team are extremely welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The public spaces are charming and stocked with complimentary cold drinks, coffee, tea, snacks and baked goods making it literally feel like home. The location is also central with easy access to all parts of greater Atlanta with free parking on site. My only complaint is that we were only in town for one night. We could have stayed the entire week! We will definitely be staying again when we return. Thank you for a great experience!
