Building and room secure and safe. Excellent housekeeping. Continental breakfast was ample, tasty and well managed. Strong, reliable Wifi. Excellent location, mid-point between boat landing and Casino. Walkable, 1/2 mile from Catalina Express Dock to Hotel. Close to shops, dining and other attractions. My husband and I wanted a special place to celebrate our Anniversary, and the Avalon Hotel was so welcoming. The hotel decor was historical with a warm and cozy ambience. Our room was always clean, quiet, and the view of the ocean was dreamy. The champagne was a nice touch and my husband and I enjoyed every day relaxing on the balcony. The Avalon staff were outstanding. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Avalon Hotel on Catalina Island. The hotel was beautiful, charming, exceptionally clean, and the ocean views were gorgeous. The entire team was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.
I especially want to recognize Kevin, the manager, who truly made our experience special. Before we even arrived, Kevin personally reached out to help us plan our stay. He gave me excellent advice on which room to book and wonderful restaurant recommendations, all of which turned out to be perfect. That kind of personal attention and genuine hospitality is rare and made such a difference.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful and well taken care of. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was peaceful and beautifully maintained, and we felt very welcomed.
Thank you, Kevin and the entire Avalon Hotel team, for helping make our mother-daughter trip to Catalina so memorable. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
