This has long been my favorite hotel in Rehoboth! Still is. I've stayed here approx 10 times. Lovely lobby, great breakfast. We arrived at 2:40. Check in is at 3:00. The man behind the counter said our room wasn't ready, he would call us when we could check in. Ok, it's kinda late to still be cleaning the room, but whatever. Then I realized that 3 other groups were also waiting to check in because they're rooms were also 'not ready'. Suddenly, at 2:50, all the rooms were ready at the exact same time! What are the odds?! If you have a strict 3pm policy, just say so. Don't look me in the eye and LIE to me and say the room isn't ready. This is what casinos do, and it is t a c k y. Below what I expect from The Bellmoor. Other than that the stay was fine.
Got a massage from Blaire in the spa that was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!!

Chef Mo prepared exceptional dishes that were perfectly seasoned, offering a distinctively authentic, home-cooked quality. Ms. Linda addressed a minor room issue with remarkable efficiency, demonstrating her status as an exemplary employee. Furthermore, Kyra provided a comprehensive overview of local amenities and attractions, encouraging us to explore the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

This is a great place to stay! Most of the rooms are very nice - one needed a little TLC. The staff is exceptional (super nice, super helpful every single one!) and the service is as well. It’s an easy couple minute walk to the boardwalk, but also provides a free shuttle if you have a lot to carry, that runs back and forth for a mile radius from 19an to 7:30pm. Highly recommend this place! Also highly recommend the rooms in the main building.

I would not opt to stay at The Bellmoor Inn ... even if the stay was free.
I suggest hiring a new management staff. The existing staff cannot empathize with guest expectations. And expectations are high due to the high room cost. It's not worth the cost. Half might be reasonable IF the NEW management staff is competent. All-Caps "IF."
Our issue: we opted for zero maid service. We placed the Privacy sign on the door exterior. When we returned our keys were inactivated. Front desk could not see any reason why this happened. We entered the room to find the Privacy sign on the interior, our personal effects moved, and the room tidied.
I pressed management as to why this could happen at an Inn that advertises such greatness. And charged for alleged greatness.
Management would not accept responsibility in any way. As a business owner, I find this 100% unacceptable.
I would not accept a free stay at The Bellmoor Inn.
