Adult Day Camp Weekend Remember those days of summer camp? All the fun and enjoyment of games and creative learning that you had can be relived at the Gillen House Luxury B&B’s version of summer camp in a weekend – Adult Day Camp!! Gather up a group of friends and take over the Gillen House for the weekend to enjoy some fun and games. We will create a weekend of enjoyment for you and your fellow “campers” to harken back the days of youth. Additional cost is $200 per couple and will be added to your weekend room rate. Get in touch with us to plan a fun weekend with friends! Adult Day Camp Weekend: Friday – Arrival by 4:00 pm. Ease into the camper mode with a few cocktails and snacks and maybe a game or two. Dinner for the group will be arranged. Saturday – Start the morning with a full breakfast to get fueled up for the day of fun. We will organize games throughout the day to make you giggle and smile with your fellow campers like; Bocce Ball, Lawn Darts, Horseshoes, Ring Toss, Croquet, Frisbee golf, putt-putt, and a few other fun adventures. Weather permitting, we may be able to go fishing, or on a nature hike. There may even be a few craft projects that you can create someone’s special gift!! Early evening hors d’oeurves and libations to review the days fun with dinner to follow. Sunday – Another great breakfast and a game or two in the morning to complete the camper’s experience. Awards and prizes will then be given out for the campers to take home a few ribbons of the accomplishments over the weekend!

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night, we had a private ceremony at the uga botanical garden and then had a relaxing night at the gillen house. The hosts were absolutely amazing, the house was stunning, and the cats were adorable:) staying here was like staying at a friends house, the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We hope to come back in the future!

Gorgeous bnb nestled in the country with charming rooms, hosts and delicious food! Incredibly breakfast and history found in a peaceful home, with adorable fish and cats. Can’t wait to come back to The Gillen House and gaze at the beautiful art, take in historic Maxey’s and talk with the most gracious and welcoming hosts!

Amazing stay at Gillen house very well appointed and redone historic home. Edward and Cyznia are great. The space is amazing indoors and out, would be great for weddings or when visiting bustle of Athens but want a quiet getaway. Amazing food too!!!

I had a wonderful stay at The Gillen House.
The room was clean, comfortable, and featured excellent furniture and beautiful art that added so much charm. The architecture of the home was impressive and the landscaping as well.
The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience feel special.
Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back.

Our stay at The Gillen House Bed & Breakfast was my favorite experience while touring Georgia. We stayed for two nights for a nearby antiquing excursion and our hosts and accommodations were absolutely excellent. Upon our arrival, we ordered a charcuterie board, which Edward made for us after we toured the house. We were able see Cynzia’s beautiful architectural design come to life. Our arrival snack was absolutely delicious and I loved that we could request add-ons like this to make our stay even more personal. Edward and Cynzia were both fantastic entertainers with food, stories, art and gardens that make The Gillen House the special place that it is. We were fortunate enough to be the only guests staying at the inn, so we were able to get to know our hosts by chatting at meals, then dining together on one occasion. It was so much fun to meet these two wonderful personalities after a few bustling days in the city. We really felt ourselves slow down and drink in the experience. Their warmth and hospitality made The Gillen House a truly memorable stay. The accommodations were quite comfortable and offered a truly luxurious experience. I highly recommend booking a stay for a one-of-a-kind visit.
