There's a reason this is the top-ranked B&B in the area. A true sanctuary that allows you to get away from it all, while still being only 10 minutes from restaurants, shops and a world-class museum (The Clark) in Williamstown. Our room (Greylock) was spectacular, with a large deck that has views of Mt. Greylock. The bed was very comfortable with quality linens and pillows. The staff there were so welcoming and the breakfast....WOW.

I loved my stay at the Guest House at Field Farm. The midcentury modern vibe was great. Loved all the little touches like lamps and clocks. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location was gorgeous, if, to quote the innkeeper, in the middle of nowhere. Actually, it was just a10-minute drive to Williamstown center. The walking trails were well laid out and easy to follow.

We have visited the area many times but it was our first time at the Guest House, and we are already planning a return trip. We could not have been happier with the beautiful, serene and relaxing location, and the accomodations that are just as perfect. The miles of trails were great for snowshoeing with the Guest House's complementary snowshoes. Breakfast was something to look forward to, and our hosts Erin and Will could not have been more gracious. A great long weekend it was!

A Mid-Century Modern Sanctuary for the Soul
The Guest House at Field Farm has become my go-to retreat when I need to step away from the everyday and truly recharge. This architectural gem delivers on every level - from the thoughtfully preserved mid-century modern design to the spectacular natural setting.
The house itself is a work of art. Every corner reveals another carefully considered detail, whether it's the original built-ins, the perfectly placed windows that frame mountain views, or the curated artwork throughout. It's like staying inside a beautifully maintained time capsule that somehow feels both historic and refreshingly contemporary.
The trails winding through the property offer peaceful walks through meadows and forests, with the Berkshire mountains as your backdrop. The grounds are immaculate - you can tell this place is truly loved and cared for.
I just experienced my first winter stay here, and it was magical. The house takes on a whole different character with snow blanketing the fields, and the warmth inside feels even more inviting. The innkeeper adds to this warmth with genuine hospitality that makes you feel welcomed without being intrusive.
Whether you're an architecture enthusiast, nature lover, or simply someone seeking a restorative escape, Field Farm delivers. It's become my favorite place to reconnect with myself and find inspiration.

Our stay at The Guest House at Field Farm was absolutely wonderful. the peaceful surroundings and stunning views of the rolling fields and Mount Greylock in the distance. The mid-century modern architecture of the house is a rare treat, blending seamlessly into the landscape while offering comfort and style.
The rooms were beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches and large windows that filled the space with natural light. We loved waking up to the serene views and spending quiet mornings on the patio with coffee. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and made with care — a perfect way to start the day.
What truly made the experience stand out was the warmth and hospitality of the innkeepers. They were knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about the property and the surrounding area. Juliana showed us "The Folly" which was amazing, such a treat for us MCM enthusiasts
