The Inn at Manchester was an incredible place to stay for a couple of days. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the whole inn is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. Our room was large and comfortable, and there are plenty of lovely common areas to relax in, including the large wraparound veranda and Adirondack chairs out on the lawn. There’s also a bar for an evening drink or cocktail, and guests have access to a kitchen where you can make tea or coffee at any time of the day or night. Breakfast was a highlight: a fantastic cooked breakfast served in the beautiful dining room each morning. A particularly useful bonus for us was the Tesla charger. When you’re doing a lot of driving on a road trip, being able to plug in at the inn and wake up with a charged car takes away a lot of the hassle of planning charging stops. Brian was an especially wonderful host and gave us some excellent recommendations for things to see locally and for the next stages of our trip through Vermont. If you’re passing through the Manchester area, I highly recommend staying here. A genuinely excellent inn and a wonderful base for exploring southern Vermont.

Ideal location for the most amazing Vermont vacation. I got married here on 7/18/26 and my family stayed for days. We even extended our trip a night longer because we didn’t want to leave! If you are considering staying here, just book it. You’re going to be so well taken care of by the inn keepers, owners, and housekeeping staff. The rooms are gorgeous and clean and the breakfast is better than it needs to be. You can walk to countless shops and restaurants or stay on the grounds and enjoy the green mountain views. If you’re considering getting married here, book ASAP! I planned my own wedding but it felt as though I had hired two coordinators. Gretchen and John made my dreams come true and my family is still talking about both of them. I could go on and on. This place is so dreamy.

The gentleman at the front is obviously a miserable old man and left me an extremely rude voicemail. I’m actually grateful I’m NOT staying here.
