I very much enjoyed my stay here with my Father. The staff was kind and provided great hospitality. It was an interesting place to stay and I would definitely recommend anyone stay here if they are in the area. It was a great experience.

Obsessed! My husband and I found this quaint bed & breakfast last minute for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. The staff checked in regularly to make sure we were satisfied w everything. Clean. Lovely decor. The historic/mysterious mansion vibes were well done.

The staff was among the friendliest we've had the opportunity to interact with. The look and feel of the mansion was so early 20th century authentic. The grounds around the mansion need better care, though. This was greatly contrasted by the nieghboring properties that looked much.more pristine. There was no attention to detail. Several driveway lights were toppled over, weeds were growing into and up through the shrubs (on and at the perimeter of the property), ground cover in the garden beds looked unrulely, debris from the grass cuttings were strewn across the lawn and side walks instead of raked up and discarded, along the property garbage had accumulated on the side walks and in the storm gutters, and the growth at the driveway entrance constrained an already narrow opening. The grounds detracted from the otherwise wonderful ambiance.

We stayed in the carriage house after biking the D&L from Jim Thorpe to Bethlehem with 2 dogs. The rooms were spacious and had plenty of room for our bikes. There was a hose down by the main house that we washed off our bikes and the dog trailers. This was definitely very pet friendly, very bike friendly was a little bit of a hike to get up to them from the bike trail but definitely worth the visit. Excited about tomorrow and the breakfast they serve. Only wish we had more than 1 night to spend before continuing on our journey.

One of the best experiences we've ever had!! The rooms are beautiful and clean and the staff was AMAZING!! We decided to do an overnight stay for my daughters 10th birthday and we were not disappointed!! We did catch a few pics with some ghostly orbs and we also had a few readings from the spirits via the Rem Pod provided to us at Sayre!! My daughter gives our stay at Sayre a 10 out of 10!! We would def stay there again!!
