Verandas was one of the few experiences so special to us that we want to repeat it. The staff did a great job, caring and creating a great environment. Clean comfortable and in a perfect location. And the breakfast was so much better than any Hotel would ever offer

The Verandas was such a wonderful B&B experience. The house was beautiful, charming and very clean. My husband and I agreed that the bed was the most comfortable hotel/b&b bed we’ve ever slept in. Such a great B&B for a romantic little getaway. Breakfast in the stunning dining room was fresh and delicious. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

The Verandas is a great choice for staying in Wilmington yet wanting proximity to Wrightsville Beach. The downtown location is 2 blocks from the river walk (with its fantastic sunsets over the Cape Fear River and great selection of restaurants). In 20 minutes you can be lounging on the beach. The rooms are great, there are verandas on both floors, and the common rooms are large and comfortable. The hot breakfast buffet is good and filling.

We had a wonderful stay at the Veranda Bed and Breakfast! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and incredibly relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. Dale, the host, was accessible, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He provided great recommendations and advice that made our stay even more enjoyable. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made the difference. We truly enjoyed our time at the Veranda B&B and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. We’re already looking forward to returning!
