My wife and I are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and we chose Maine for our getaway trip. Neither of us hand been to Maine before and, after this visit, it has become our favorite Fall trip! Topside Inn was fantastic in every way. We stayed in the cottage which is clean, quaint, private and within walking distance to town. The views of the harbor and bay from Adirondack chairs is fabulous! The staff is excellent with special thanks to Greg, the manager, who was there for all of our questions and needs. Oh…and the gourmet breakfasts were beyond our expectations! My husband and I just spent three wonderful days at the Topside Inn in Boothbay Harbor Maine. First of all, our weather was beautiful. The view from the Inn is so pretty overlooking the harbor with lots of sailboats. Every morning we were given a chef-prepared exquisite breakfast. During the day you can help yourself to hot or cold drinks and in the afternoon there are yummy homemade cookies. Make sure to grab one before they are all gone. You can walk into town if you don't have mobility issues. There is a steep hill, but it wasn't a problem for us to walk.
We met a lot of nice people from all over the country and one couple from the UK. All in all, it was a great time.

We travel to Boothbay Harbor every Fall. We have been staying at the Topside Inn every year since 2019. Great property, service, and location. Breakfast is amazing. We have already booked our dates for 2027.
