Nice place but:
They are pushy on gratuities
They had cheap furniture that was flaking off a plastic coating, and they blamed us after leaving and charged us for “damage”.

The lodge has a beautiful view of the lake. The private room and bath are quiet, spacious, and very clean! Loved having the fridge, snacks, and coffee in the room also. The bed is firm- but it's personal preference and not a complaint. Each morning- our breakfast was delicious and in such a cozy room with stunning views. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Nothing but wonderful things to say about the Lodge at Moosehead, it truly was an unforgettable experience. Whether it was morning tea at on the balcony overlooking the beautiful lake or the fresh baked cookies each day, this property did not disappoint. We stayed in the Bear room and loved the privacy as well as the extremely comfortable bed. Do yourself a favor and add on the Smores, especially if you’re visiting during those chilly Autumn nights. The fire pit, homemade marshmallows, and stargazing were a highlight. The staff really goes the extra mile, providing those extra finishing touches that make a stay memorable. Hats off to Beverly, Larry and the entire team. Also I’d be remised if I didn’t mention the delicious food at their restaurant 368 Maine. The daily changing chefs specials made each breakfast feel fresh, and the celebratory birthday prix fixe dinner couldn’t have been better. Shoutout to our server Cameron for great service every day! Do yourself a favor and book a stay at the Lodge at Moosehead Lake, worth every penny.
